A true innovator, she created industry-defining tools and techniques including Electric File Oil, the French Fill Diamond Bit, and the first e-file safety video Drilling Without Damage, and helped pioneer anatomy-based electric-filing standards used worldwide. As an educator, she has taught thousands through her in-person programs and the Lysa Comfort Academy, consistently advocating for nail health, damage prevention, and proper technique for professionals and beginners alike. As a leader, she founded Charisma Nail Innovations—trusted for more than 20 years—and created the Nailympics/Nailympion criteria while serving as President of INJA, establishing global judging standards. As a mentor, she has developed champions and educators around the world and is known for empowering students, newcomers, and nail biters with skill and confidence. As a pioneer, she created and produced Nail’d It, the first U.S. nail-competition reality TV show, becoming an early force in bringing professional nail artistry into mainstream media, competitions, and international education.
